Cancel the cruel sheep race at Bellingham Show on 28.8.2017

Thank you to the Bellingham Show Committee who have decided to no longer include the sheep racing as part of the show. o cancel the As part of the Bellingham Country Show in Northumberland, naturally timid and quiet sheep will be made to race against each other for the amusement of festival goers.

This is cruel and unnecessary humiliation, large noisy crowds will be cheering and shouting at them and this will be extremely frightening and stressful for them.

Through the pressure put on organisers by Care2 members signing petitions like this one, other sheep races have recently been cancelled in the UK. So we know we can win!
