Tell Insurance Commissioner Lara: Don’t Take Away My Auto Insurance Discount!

California's Insurance Commissioner, Ricardo Lara, has proposed costly new regulations that would eliminate group auto insurance discounts for millions of hard-working Californians costing consumers hundreds of dollars more per year.

While Commissioner Lara's proposal is well-intentioned, it would especially hurt healthcare workers, teachers, firefighters, veterans, seniors, and millions of other California consumers who rely on these programs to save money on insurance.

ACT NOW: Tell Insurance Commissioner Ricardo Lara: Don't take away auto insurance discounts for millions of Californians.

Dear Insurance Commissioner Lara:

Millions of California consumers like me rely on auto insurance group discounts to save money on our car insurance. Your proposed regulations on affinity group discounts would put my auto insurance discount at risk threatening what I pay for insurance by potentially hundreds of dollars per year.

California voters approved these group discounts on the ballot years ago. I oppose your draft regulations that would jeopardize my discount. I strongly urge you to find new ways to expand discounts to more Californians while preserving access to the discounts that millions of us rely on.
