We demand an End to the marginalization of Akarai clan:(Umuolu, umuti, iyede ame, onorgbokor,Okpokirika,Azagba, onyah and more 14 communities in that region of ndokwa east oil rich local government by delta state government,Nigeria

People of the oil-rich Ndokwa East local government, of Delta state have lamented the deplorable state and lack of basic infrastructure, occasioned by what they describe as "sad neglect of the communities in the area by successive governments, both at the state and federal levels, in spite of the fact that the area is littered with oil wells, and hosts the operations of dozens of oil companies".
in fact, politically, it appears that government has excluded the entire local government area from the national map in terms of development index, due largely to absence of basic infrastructure".
Akarai-Etiti axis (Akarai Obodo, Umuti, Umuolu, Iyede Ame, Onogbokor, amongst others) in the local government, exist no single passable road, electricity, education or health care facilities, portable water and any other basic infrastructure that ought to add value to the lives of these people whose land is ravaged by the environmental effects of oil exploration.
the aim of this platform is to mobilize our Youths against the marginalization of our communities.
pls join us in solidarity
