Continue Federal Protection of the Timber Wolf as an Endangered and Threatened Species

Pease speak out for the 4,000 wolves facing ruthless slaughter. We specifically petition the U.S. Department of the Interior to refrain from delisting the Timber Wolf from the list of endangered and the threatened species and to continue its protection and prohibitions against hunting or otherwise killing wolves. The Timber Wolf doesn't hurt us, so why should we hurt them.
A PETITION TO THE US DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR FOR CONTINUED FEDERAL PROTECTION OF THE TIMBER WOLF AS AN ENDANGERED AND THREATENED SPECIES          The US Department of the Interior has recently indicated it will remove (delist) the Timber Wolf (canis lupus) from the endangered and threatened species list, an action that will allow the killing of wolves for the purpose of managing Timber Wolf populations.            We, the undersigned, recognize the Timber Wolf to be integral part of the environment and we oppose this delisting action or any other act or regulation that would allow the killing of timber wolves, whether adults or pups, whether for sport or for the managing Timber Wolf populations. We specifically petition the US Department of the Interior to refrain from delisting the Timber Wolf from the list of endangered and threatened species and to continue its protections and prohibitions against hunting or otherwise killing Timber Wolves.

We are asking nothing of you, except to sign your name so that you can help us protect the wolves of Wisconsin or wherever they may be. If you have any questions you can email me at jenny99lotr@wi.rr.com .
