Stand with Abdul El-Sayed and call for a ban on assault weapons!

Abdul El-Sayed is the only candidate in the race with a comprehensive gun control platform that includes a full assault weapons ban, and the only candidate to receive a special distinction from Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America.
 
We must recognize that military-style assault weapons like the AR-15 – the weapon of choice for mass shooters and the weapon used to kill 17 students and teachers in Florida – are meant for one thing: killing. It's time for Gretchen Whitmer to reconsider her position on this critical issue.
