The Greenbelt is one of Ontario's most treasured resources, and it's celebrating a decade of success in 2015!

Home to nearly 2 million acres of protected lands, the Greenbelt provides millions of Ontarians with access to fresh air, clean water and healthy local foods, and it keeps productive farmlands, forests, and wetlands safe and sustainable. The Greenbelt also supports our economy, by providing jobs and helping to support great products such as Ontario's world-class wines.

In all of these ways, Ontario's Greenbelt contributes every day to our quality of life and a healthy and sustainable future for our children, our families and our communities.
