Please be the voice for this bear Jette who for decades has lived in a 205m2 pit with no enrichment and minimal care in the Zoo in Calbe, Germany.
My name is Carol Smith and I live in Birmingham England. For the last two years I have been trying to fight for rescuing bears who often live a horrible life in zoos and circuses. I love bears and I feel especially sorry for the German bear Jette, who lives in this horrible small enclosure.
Jette has no visual contact with any other animals and only has a change of view when he looks up. The zoo is not secured or closed of an evening and it has been told that people enter the zoo at night time and pelt Jette and the other animals with rocks and sticks. This is no existence for any animal let alone an aging bear. Please sign and lets help to change Jette's life for the better.
