Your "P-3" proposal for a 50-year lease of nine city garages to a private company will double or triple parking rates and end affordable parking in the Hollywood area. It will devastate Hollywood and the eight other business communities with city garages. It is bad public policy based on a flawed financial strategy. PLEASE VOTE AGAINST P-3.

Affordable parking is vital for Hollywood merchants, their clientele, residents, and visitors to the area. These businesses generate precious City revenue and jobs on a long-term basis.
