Tell MTG: "If you won't bother to read a critically important bill before you vote on it, you shouldn't be in Congress"

It was the single most important bill of the Congressional session, Trump's "Big" bill, and Rep Greene didn't feel the need to read it before she voted:

"In a post on X Tuesday, Greene explained that she didn't know that the bill includes a provision blocking states from regulating artificial intelligence, and had she known, she would have voted against the Medicaid-slashing legislation that passed by a one-vote margin.

"Full transparency, I did not know about this section on pages 278-279 of the OBBB that strips states of the right to make laws or regulate AI for 10 years. I am adamantly OPPOSED to this and it is a violation of state rights and I would have voted NO if I had known this was in there," she wrote." (source)

It passed by one vote. Meaning if she'd voted No, it would have failed.

Look, we get that members of Congress can't always read every line of every piece of paper that comes across their desk.  But this was literally the most important bill this session, covering trillions of dollars, and touching essentially every part of government. If she can't read this, she shouldn't be in Congress.

Please join us in telling her that:

"Rep: Greene if you won't bother to read bother to read a critically important bill before you vote on it, you shouldn't be in Congress."
