Save The Seals

The Annual Canadian Seal Hunt is not humane by any standards and the quota is not enforced at all.

This year over 330,000 seals were killed during this annual hunt.  Research shows that  98.5% of these seals will be under two months old.  Seals are killed with hooks, knives and clubs.  It is the largest slaughter of marine animals in the world.  In 2001 an independent group of veterinarians studied the seal hunt.  They reported seals being shot and left to suffer, seals being dragged along the ice by boat hooks, while they were still conscious, and 42% of the seals were skinned while they were still alive. Please help stop the senseless murder of seals.
