The NRA has used these factual inaccuracies to provoke fear and create a false need for firearms, which, as made clear by recent events, has only led to increased violence and death.
Stand up the NRA's lies. If they really believe that guns are safe and necessary, tell them to prove it with actual facts.

Most of the myths you have promoted as fact - guns don't kill people, people kill people, violent video games are more to blame than guns, more guns make us safer - have been disproven.
In fact, the truth is usually the opposite of what you claim to be facts.
Your lies have promoted fear and misunderstanding. Worse, they have created legal loopholes that have allowed murderers and criminals to acquire guns easily, cheaply, and, in many cases, completely legally.
