Demand that the State of New Mexico stop damming river water which flows to the Rio Grande in the city of El Paso, Tx.

The state of New Mexico dams water flow to the Rio Grande in El Paso, Tx. The Rio Grande serves as a habitat to 1000s of different types of wildlife such as rabbits, coyotes, road runners, woodpeckers, and red winged black birds. When the month of September approaches, the river, which serves as an important habitat to these creatures, is dammed by the state of NM. Thousands of animals depend on the flow of water to maintain existence. Please think about the wildlife dependent on the Rio Grande water for survival.
