Not having a driver's license could put an undocumented person on a path to detention or deportation after an interaction with law enforcement. No one should have to live with this fear.

Currently, sixteen states and the District of Columbia allow undocumented people to obtain driver's licenses. United We Dream is fighting to open up access to undocumented folks in every state.

Sign our petition if you agree that undocumented people should have access to obtaining a driver's license, and all the benefits that come with it.

We've also put together a guide to help non-citizens and undocumented folks better understand their eligibility and what they need to do in order to drive legally. Signing our petition and sharing the guide will help get this information to those who need it!
