Climate change is a massive problem, and it's only made worse by companies like cruise industry giant, Carnival Corporation, fueling its ships with one of the dirtiest fossil fuels in the world—heavy fuel oil. But today, you can make a real difference by calling on Carnival to stop its polluting ways!

Carnival Corporation, with its 10 subsidiary brands, is the largest player in the cruise industry and can set the precedent for the rest of the cruise sector. In the last decade, the total greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions for just the Carnival Cruise Line subsidiary alone have risen by nearly 20%. By burning heavy fuel oil (HFO) to fuel ships in its global fleet, Carnival is choosing to accelerate the pace of Arctic sea ice melt through black carbon (soot) pollution and significant greenhouse gas emissions—for no other reason other than protecting its bottom line.

Tell Carnival that this is UNACCEPTABLE! Call on their CEO to switch to low-sulfur diesel fuel and immediately end all heavy fuel oil use in its global fleet, starting with the fragile and imperiled Arctic and sub-Arctic.
