Tell Big Box Retailers: Get Roundup Ready GMO Grass Out of Our Yards!

Over 150,000 people are suing Bayer-Monsanto after developing cancer attributed to contact with Roundup weedkiller, but Scotts Miracle-Gro is looking for ways to sell more Roundup. And Scotts partnership with Monsanto gave them a way to do just that. Together they developed GMO Roundup Ready Kentucky Bluegrass and Tall Fescue Turfgrass, now sold under Scotts' new brand, ProVista, for both residential and commercial use.

The grass is genetically engineered to tolerate spraying with Roundup so it's undamaged when sprayed with the herbicide, but the weeds die. If your neighbor grows Scotts' GMO grass, Roundup will drift onto your property when they carpet bomb their yard with this toxic herbicide. If you get cancer from Roundup exposure, that's OK with Scotts!

Tell Scotts and their GMO ProVista sod growers and retailers that growing and selling Roundup Ready grass is a danger to public health and our environment!
