Sack Lord Freud - The Welfare Reform Minister

Lord Freud, the Minister for Welfare Reform has suggested that disabled people in the UK could be paid £2.00 per hour!  The Current minimum wage is £6.50 (£8.80 in London).

These comments are offensive and demeaning to all disabled people and he should be sacked immediately.

This Government seems keen to abolish slave labour in the UK, but £2.00 per hour is just that - Slave Labour!

Your Minister for Welfare Reform, Lord Freud, has gone too far. His suggestion that disabled people in the UK could be paid £2.00 per hour!  is offensive and demeaning. Any apologies offered are inadequate to this offense, and he should be forced to resign immediately.

Hi Everyone.

Thanks for signing this petition. It has somewhat become redundant now that a General Election is happening.

Hopefully, Lord Freud won't be offered a job when the new Parliament is called.
