Stand with fans, not Ticketmaster

Add your name if you believe fans, not monopolies, deserve a fair shot at tickets

Fans are being shut out. Ticket prices are soaring. And now, Ticketmaster is backing new legislation that would make things even worse. The RESALE Act is being sold as "reform," but it's really a power grab — one that helps monopolies tighten their grip and hurts real fans.

Send a message to the D.C. City Council: Stand with fans, not Ticketmaster.

Dear Councilmember,

I'm asking you to stand with fans – not monopolies. The RESALE Act claims to bring much-needed reform to local live events. But, it mirrors legislation that Live Nation itself is lobbying for.

When a company controlling 80% of the primary ticketing industry, under investigation by the federal government and 40 Attorneys General, applauds a bill, it can't be good for fans like me.

This bill would strengthen Ticketmaster's stranglehold over live events – making it harder for me to buy, sell, or share tickets freely and fairly. That's why they "applaud" this bill.

Ticketmaster has rigged the system, "turn[ing] a blind eye" to bots and  "triple dip[ing]" on fees.

The truth is simple: The RESALE Act would reinforce Ticketmaster's monopoly. Locking us further into a system where one massive corporation controls the venue, the artist, the tickets, and even the resale. That's not fair competition. It's a monopoly.

Please stand up for fans and fair competition!

Sincerely,

[Your Name]
