Will you join the American Diabetes Association (ADA) efforts to improve and secure access to affordable medications for diabetes patients?

Access to affordable medication can be the difference between life and death for diabetes patients. It's inexcusable that a diabetes patient's ability to live depends on their access to prescription drug insurance to cover the cost of expensive medications.

Over the last year and a half, the pandemic has left millions of Americans jobless and without employer-sponsored health insurance. Will you join the American Diabetes Association (ADA) efforts to improve and secure access to affordable medications for diabetes patients?

Specifically, the American Diabetes Association is fighting to:

  • Ensure all people with and at risk for diabetes are covered under public and private health insurance including, but not limited to, plans under the Affordable Care Act, Medicare, Medicaid, Children's Health Insurance Program and regulated health plans, provide adequate and affordable access to the medications, tools, education and health care necessary to meet the American Diabetes Association's Standards of Medical Care in Diabetes.
  • Oppose weakening of existing protections for people with diabetes and prediabetes in federal and state law.
  • Make medications affordable and accessible for all who need it and require transparency throughout the supply chain.

Sign the petition today to stand with diabetes patients, and join the American Diabetes Association collective of advocates fighting for access to affordable, quality medication.
