Tell Reddit to Shut Down, r/Incels, a Forum That Promotes Violence Against Women!

The popular online forum website, Reddit, recently updated its content policy by explicitly prohibiting the advocating of violence against individuals, groups and animals.

This resulted in a handful of white supremacist forums (or “subreddits” as they are called on Reddit) being banned.

However, this is not enough. If Reddit is serious about upholding this new policy, it must also look at subreddits dedicated to advocating violent misogyny, in particular the subreddit named Incels.

The forum advertises itself as a place for men who have trouble with romance, however it is much more than that. Rather, it’s a place where men gather to reinforce each other’s hate of women for not having sex with them. Users also frequently resort to advocating rape, violence against and murder of women. They have even glorified pedophilia more than a few times.
