Ask Cadbury to Offer a Fairtrade Chocolate Easter Egg

With over 2 million children working in and around cocoa farming worldwide, efforts to source ethical cocoa and address child labour are critically important. Many global companies, including Mondelēz (Cadbury's parent company) have committed to source most of their cocoa from ethical sources by 2020.

In Australia, Cadbury's commitment to ethical cocoa led it to offer a Fairtrade Easter egg. Canadians would like that same option in time for Easter.

Sign the petition and ask Mondelēz Canada (Cadbury's parent company), to increase the number of ethical chocolate products in Canada by offering a Fairtrade chocolate egg.
Dear Mondelēz Canada,

I want to be a part of efforts that reduce the number of children involved in dirty, dangerous and degrading work in the harvesting of cocoa. I am encouraged by what Cadbury is doing in its operations to address the problem of the worst forms of child labour in cocoa producing areas, particularly in Ghana.

To help me be a part of the solution, I want to encourage Cadbury to increase the number of ethical or Fairtrade chocolate products sold in Canada, including the offer of a Fairtrade Easter egg.
