Tell the EPA to rein in global warming pollution from oil and gas drilling

The Environment of Texas is concerned about the devastating effects of global warming and the role that oil and gas drilling plays in exacerbating this crisis.

The emissions from these industries contribute significantly to the greenhouse gases that trap heat in our atmosphere, causing the planet's temperature to rise and leading to devastating consequences such as melting polar ice caps, rising sea levels, and more frequent natural disasters.

We call on the EPA to take action and rein in the global warming pollution from oil and gas drilling by implementing stricter regulations and standards that would significantly reduce these emissions. This includes, but is not limited to, improving the efficiency of drilling operations, investing in renewable energy sources, and holding companies accountable for their carbon footprint.

We urge you to prioritize the future of our planet and take action on this pressing issue. Our children and future generations depend on it.

Sign now to take action against global warming pollution from oil and gas drilling!
Dear EPA,

I support the proposed new protections aimed at cutting methane emissions, which is one of the worst global warming pollutants on the planet, in the oil and gas industry.

The proposed safeguards would help reduce harmful air pollution, protecting both our climate, and our health. Although the proposal is strong, there are still improvements to be made.

I urge the EPA to enact the strongest possible safeguards against methane pollution.

Sincerely,
