Everyone should have access to quality health care. But for millions around the world, that’s not the reality.

Valentine Mukandebe, a mother of four in Rwanda, once feared for her future. After her youngest son, Felicien, was born with a disability, she spent everything she had traveling long distances for his care. The strain led to a breakdown of her marriage and  financial collapse.

Through Partners In Health (PIH), known locally as Inshuti Mu Buzima (IMB) in Rwanda, hope returned. At the Pediatric Development Clinic, Felicien received life-changing treatment. Once blind and immobile, he can now see and walk. PIH staff also provided counseling for Valentine and helped her start a small business. Today, she's building her own home and creating a brighter future for her children.

Since 2014, this program has helped more than 5,000 children with disabilities access critical care, therapy, and family support. But thousands more are still waiting—and they cannot wait alone. Across the world, families face impossible choices between survival and care. Standing together, we can send a clear message: no child should be left behind when health and dignity are on the line.

This is why PIH exists. We believe health care is a human right. Across 11 countries, we work alongside communities to deliver world-class care to people who need it most—no matter where they live or what their income is. Because no mother should ever have to choose between her family's survival and her child's health.

Sign this petition to stand with mothers like Valentine and help PIH provide life-changing care for children too often overlooked.
