URGENT: Keep pollution out of our drinking water

  • by: Earthjustice
  • recipient: The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) rolled back key parts of the Clean Water Rule, giving industries the power to dump toxic waste in our freshwater sources.

Repealing the Clean Water Rule without any valid scientific or legal reasoning pushes the United States away from a commonsense safeguard that helps protect our rivers, streams, and wetlands. The EPA's action threatens drinking water sources for 117 million people in the United States.

At a time when we're facing the greatest public health crisis in a generation, the last thing communities need is a clean water crisis.

Earthjustice fights in court to keep our water clean. But we need supporters like you to make sure the EPA feels the public pressure. Let's get loud: Sign the petition now asking the EPA to protect our drinking water.
