Rent gouging and predatory practices are driving single parents, seniors, and veterans out of their homes. Sign now to tell your lawmakers to vote YES on:
- Reasonable and more predictable rent increases: Allow landlords to increase rent by 3% - 7%, matched to inflation.
- Limit predatory rental fees and prohibit rent gouging: Stop rent increases from being a tool to punish, displace or deny tenants of their rights.
- More time to adjust to rent increases: Provide 6 months' notice to tenants for rent increases of 5% or more.
- Prevent the displacement of homeowners in manufactured home parks: Require longer notice of park closures and allow nonprofits the opportunity to purchase.

As your constituent, I'm asking you to vote YES on two important bills to stabilize Washington's out of control rental rates. Please vote YES on:
HB 1389: Allow landlords to increase rent by 3% - 7%, matched to inflation. Allow larger rent increases for new tenants, major repairs, new buildings, hardship or when the landlord "banked" rent increases by not raising the rent in prior years.
HB 1129: Require longer notice of manufactured home park closures to homeowners and allow nonprofits the opportunity to purchase. People in your district, and every part of the state, are counting on you to address high rents to keep people housed. I look forward to hearing from you.
