Playstation 3 - 80010514 Error -Customer Satisfaction

We the undersigned, feel that Sony Computer Entertainment America should be held accountable for, and acknowledge the faulty firmware update that causes the 80010514 error.

The error renders the PS3 useless as, the community has agreed that it seems to corrupt either the hard drive and/or optical lens. This mean that little to no PS3/BluRay/PS2/DVDs are able to be read by the system.

Many loyal Sony customers have spent hard earned dollars in a tough economy on Sony products and expect a high quality of software and service. Thus far, Sony has only stated that this error is not in their database, and therefore is not to be considered serious. We strongly urge SCEA and its affiliates to acknowledge the issue and freely service any machines that have been corrupted. It is a part of corporate responsibility to handle and fix such serious errors, and not charge the customer $150 to have it serviced. We thank you for listening, and hope that you take action.
