Ticketmaster - Stop taking advantage of consumers!
Ticketmaster takes advantage of consumers! Ticketmaster and Live Nation have merged into one giant corporate conglomerate, and they have a monopoly as ticket broker for so many events! This is not fair to consumers! Ticketmaster charges exorbitant fees (up to 45% of the ticket price) and they do not refund the total amount paid when an event is canceled. It is sometimes impossible to get through both online and on the telephone (the wait time is excessive) when tickets go on sale for some events. Often times events sell out just seconds after tickets have gone on sale, and yet within minutes you can find tickets to "sold out" events for resale on other websites. When seating is available for some events, it is almost impossible to get very good seats. The customer service is terrible. Ticketmaster needs to change their ways and stop taking advantage of consumers. We will use other ticket vendors or purchase direct from the venues whenever we can!
We, the consumers do not like being subject to your unfair business practices. Ticketmaster (who has now merged with Live Nation) charges exorbitant fees, and does not refund the entire purchase price when an event is canceled. Ticketmaster's customer service is not satisfactory, and it is sometimes impossible to purchase tickets for some events, as they sell out within seconds of going on sale. Many consumers attempt to purchase event tickets the minute they go on sale, via online and/or on the telephone, and are simply shut out. Tickets for those same "sold out" events then show up on ticket resale websites within minutes of going on sale at Ticketmaster. Ticketmaster's business practices and treatment of consumers is simply unacceptable and must be changed! Ticketmaster has gotten away with this because it has a monopoly as ticket broker for many events. The consumers are pushing for a fair alternative so that this will change!
