Don't Cut Corporation Tax in the UK!

UK Chancellor George Osborne plans to slash corporation tax from 20% to 15% in a misguided effort to boost business. Unfortunately, this means cutting public programs, like the National Health Service, that citizens depend on.

Cutting taxes for businesses is the wrong strategy. There is no evidence to suggest that lowering corporate tax would improve the economy, and the UK already charges one of the lowest corporation tax rates in the world. Instead, the UK should increase investment to improve low-income communities.

Please tell Chancellor George Osborne that cutting corporation tax is not the right strategy! Encourage him to shift his focus toward increasing investment to enrich disenfranchised communities!
