Stop the News Bias - Deliver Facts not Opinions!

YouTube, home to many dedicated individuals who spend endless hours editing videos, is under attack from the media. Many famous YouTubers such as PewDiePie and various other channels have been abused constantly on account of many "news" stations.

The media has exponentially grown, and feeds off of the bias of a distinct group of people that only see one side of a story. Fox News, CNN, Deseret News, the Standard Examiner, and many other news stations have provided us with everything but news. In a TED Talk given by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, she says that, "...when we reject the single story, when we realize that there is never a single story about any place, we regain a kind of paradise." (18:16), showing that we must reject the single story, and be considerate of other peoples' views. The media is dominant in only seeing one face of a story, and has taken it too far. We have experienced this in our political party system, and now is reaching out to YouTube. We need to stand up to these tyrannical news stations that provide us nothing but half of the truth.

This petition will help influence the news stations to revise their work, and to speak the facts instead of the emotions. We must see the full story before we determine what to say, this is what news stations need to learn.

We ask that the media resigns its hateful bias towards YouTube, and that they will stay bias free in their publications of news articles. We ask that news companies open up their eyes, and think about the other side of the story before making a case. We ask that this be effective immediately, and dealt with haste. Hateful articles and biased news plagues the internet, and need to be dealt with.

We ask that you know both sides to the situation before you post an article, and that you listen to what others have to say. This world will only heal if we begin the change now. Hateful news must be stopped.
