Tell Cricket Australia to end their partnership with big polluter, Alinta Energy!

Cricket Australia's partnership with Alinta Energy is up for renewal. It's time for Cricket Australia to end it, for good.

Alinta are Victoria's 3rd largest polluters. They want to burn dirty, toxic brown coal at their Loy Yang B power station until 2047.

Australian cricket promoting a dirty coal giant today is as irresponsible as a medical organisation promoting cigarettes in the 1930's. Fossil fuels like coal are driving the climate crisis that's making Australia's bushfires worse. Just like cigarettes, coal threatens the health and safety of Australians. In the end, we're all left breathing smoke.

Australian test captain Pat Cummins has just launched a project to install solar panels at local cricket clubs and the Australian Cricketers' Association has joined sporting clubs around the world in signing on to the UN's Sport for Climate Action framework.

Cricket Australia can be part of this momentum for a safe climate by cutting ties with Alinta.

Sign now and tell Cricket Australia CEO Nick Hockley to end the partnership with Alinta, and be on the right side of history!
