Support a Constitutional amendment to make corporations environmentally responsible!

Corporations are not people, and money is not the same as free speech. The Environmental and Social Responsibility Amendment to the US Constitution (ESRA) requires the wealthiest corporations to demonstrate a record of ethical, environmental, and social responsibility before their charters can be renewed, includes a public Federal election campaign finance system, bans private money in federal elections, and authorizes an educational curriculum for grades K-graduate school to educate the next generation about the environmental crisis facing the world, to learn the skills needed for environmental sustainability. Please support H.Res. 156.

We the undersigned, at a time of global environmental crisis, corporate disregard of sustainable environmental and social practices worldwide, and the increasing control over the U.S. political system by the super-wealthy and mega-corporations, urge you to support the Environmental and Social Responsibility Amendment (ESRA) to the U.S. Constitution, and House Resolution 156 on ESRA, advocating for this constitutional amendment, as introduced by U.S. Representative Dennis Kucinich on March 9, 2011.
Corporations are not persons, and money is not a form of free speech. It is not too late to take back our democracy. We the people can regulate the requirements of corporate conduct to create a socially and environmentally responsible world, characterized by caring for one another and caring for the earth.
Please co-sponsor House Resolution 156.
Sincerely,
