Demand improved access to clean water globally

More than 1.5 billion people around the world do not have access to clean water, this impacts people's health and limits their opportunities.

Globally, The Salvation Army is working with communities to improve access to clean water and promote hygiene and sanitation. In Malawi, we are partnering with different schools and communities in the northern district of Karonga as they continue to identify opportunities that we can help with. This is just one of the Clean Water projects that The Salvation Army supports.

Everyone deserves the access to clean water.

There are many elements to our work, such as drilling boreholes, constructing toilet blocks and handwashing facilities in schools, conducting agricultural training for food security, and raising awareness about gender equality.

The Salvation Army is fighting to ensure everyone has the right to clean water. Will you join us? Show your support of The Salvation Army's work by signing our petition today.
