Join the new Future Fleet Campaign: Tell the Soda Giants to Slash Their Oil Use!

Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, and Dr. Pepper-Snapple have always been three of the fastest companies at reacting to customer feedback -- and it's time they hear your feedback about the climate.

Will you contact the beverage giants above and ask them to slash oil use in their vehicle fleets?

These three companies have all taken important environmental strides, but we don't have forever to solve the climate crisis. The beverage giants own over 100,000 vehicles between them, and guzzle more oil than nearly any other industry. If they agree to slash their oil consumption and avoid tar sands fuels, it will be a big step forward for the climate.

This is just the first effort of the new Future Fleet initiative from the Sierra Club and ForestEthics. We'll push America's biggest companies to take responsibility for their oil consumption, using our own secret formula: the grassroots power of over 2.1 million supporters like you.

Use your power as a consumer to help the climate -- send your letter below asking Coke, Pepsi, and Dr. Pepper-Snapple to slash oil use and kick the tar sands habit!
Subject: Please cut your oil and tar sands use

Dear [Beverage Executive],

As one of the Sierra Club's 2.1 million supporters, and someone who has consumed your products in the past, I want to thank you for the environmental measures your corporation has taken -- and ask you to do even more.

The climate crisis faces scientific tipping points that make it different from any other issue. If we don't act now, it will be too late. As a major corporation and industry leader, you are positioned to lead the way.

Please reduce your company's total oil use, improve its fleet fuel efficiency by 25 percent, and begin choosing fuels that come from tar sands-free refineries. I have been encouraged by your past efforts and will be watching closely to make sure these critical new steps are taken.
