Do you like this picture of the rainbows and stars? I do. I LIKE THIS PICTURE, BECAUSE IT REMINDS ME OF THE STARS (lives) WE WILL SAVE VIA THE C2 BUTTERFLIES AND CLICKING SYSTEM AND TAKE THEM OUT OFF THE DEATH LIST and darknesss, into a new life and hopefully a loving for ever home.
Of course because of the compassion runs deeply in our veins, we will still have a last minute panic in saving lives, of ALL SPECIES, but now we know we can do this with the C2 B.C. new option for saving lives from the Euthansia (killing) list, once set up. Please read my ramble below. Please also check the petition link below. Thank you from the heart.
If you get lost in Care2 system trying to sign, I have put up the set of 11 petitions on my page, and in each petition, so that you can just scroll down each petition to move onto the next one to sign, if you wish of course. In this message, I have signed numbered it, because many said they have become confused. I must admit when I tried to sign them all myself, it totally confused me which one I had signed in my tiredness. So hope the red numbers helps.
If you have not signed, noted, commented, shared far and wide, here is a wonderful chance for you to do so if you wish to.
Care2 is listening and watching to see how you all feel about this. When I looked at the results of the signitures, I had realised that we have unintentionally created a charts, graphs, statistics, of the reward system...a bit like a survey. Have a good look at the results of signitures.

What better Thanks Giving and Christmas present, just to even recieve one Butterfly-gift-rewards donation request for additional options! As I said, I did not expect anything, but remembered my old saying, 'dont ask, never know. Dont try never succced. We did ask, and we found out about one! The first one, euthanasia list. Just goes to show what we can all achieve if we all put link up as one Care2 unit.
Save some credits for our new butterfly rewards by checking all the petitions are signed!
Someone said that it can take some time to set new Butterflies up and so that is ok, because we will have many butterflies and ready for a quick dash to exchange them to save a life. I wonder who will be the first one? And to signify the 1000 target reached, I wonder who will be the 1000th person to save a life via butterfly donation?! just for fun, you can check on on the Euthanasia.. petition who was the first and 1000th person to sign. :-)
Just wanted to give you an update, and wish you a Good Thanks Giving Day and a very early Happy Christmas.
On Christmas, the 25th December 2009 was when I became active on Care2... wow, that would make it almost a year. I ONLY meant to stay for few week, wow, been trying to let go all this time: must be the longest farewells in history. NOW? I am a Care2 addict! LOL. How about that! Doesnt time fly? I unintentionally became addicted to Care2 and unitentionally sacrificed almost everything for a whole year! I decided that LIFE IS LIKE A JOURNEY, SO TRAVEL IT WELL AND WHEN THINGS GO WRONG, IT IS UP TO US TO TRY TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT AGAIN. So this is what we did, we took a solid step to make some wrongs, did something historical in Care2. You signed, noted, commented, spread the word far and wide... you gave your time, compassion and your energy. (Something that can not be bought or sold.) Thank you on thanks giving, for this and for the lives that will be saved.

It is going to a tough job. LOL is the a petition for Care2 addiction?! Yerh, going to a tough one, but I will try to return as often as possible.

Let us ALL AGREE TO PUT ASIDE ANY DIFFERENCES ETC, AGREE TO DISAGREE WHEN NEEDED AND AIM TO LEARN LESSONS FROM ANIMAL and the people from the rainforests, to live in simple respect, acceptances & friendships in order to save lives. We all can be inspired and do lots, but if we link up as one unit, we can do so much more. This to me is thanks giving, giving a life back because we owe so much more to the world.

No-kill animal shelters -- We have seen the requests for a Butterfly Rewards gift for a no-kill animal shelter. I am working to set this up and will let you know once one is available. Stay tuned!

Re - additional Butterfly credits
As you may have noticed by now, a number of new petitions regarding the above have appeared on the Care2 web site. All these petitions relate to Care2 members wanting a choice to be able to redeem their butterfly credits to further help animals & the environment.
We (the members) are most grateful and thankful for the existing redeemable gifts available. They are an important part of why Care2 is so popular, there are are not many sites offering help in this way without asking members for cash donations. The Care2 site is a very unique and successful way of helping those less fortunate than ourselves. However, Care2 members would like the opportunity to help other causes, such as charities and organizations that can actually help save a life.
For example, a new Care2 gift scheme to help animal shelters by way of paying for adoption fees; many dogs & cats are euthanized due to lack of funds, which is terribly sad. This is obviously very distressing for Care2 members, who more often than not, will set about trying to raise funds to save those who have only days or hours left to become adopted.
Here are some of the ideas at the bottom of the page, which Care2 members would like to redeem their credits for, you have probably noted them from new petitions; which are up and running:-
Care2 members could help with all the above by donating their credits, which hopefully Care2 could exchange, in whatever way possible, to help Charities and Welfare Organization cover some of the costs involved with the above, i.e.
Poverty, homeless people, abused animals & people...
The running cost & maintenance of rescue vehicles & boats etc.
Bandages, theatre equipment, drugs etc
Animal crates, food, catch poles, leads, collars, halters, nets
Clothes, blankets, furniture, a bed for the night,
Groceries, toiletries, toys, helping the aged...
Although I do not know who or how the sponsors help but it is already possible to exchange credits to buy a shelter dog a toy; wouldn it be wonderful if those sponsors where able to help buy medicines or other life saving equipment to actually save a shelter dogs life!
Care2 has already shown that earning credits is a simple yet very effective way in which all members can directly help. If it were possible, the new options would certainly make us (the members) feel more empowered. Members will be more inclined to raise credits if they know by doing so; they will be helping those most desperately in need, perhaps organizations which members already support but want to give more.
Of course, we (the members) understand that setting up any new credit option must require a lot of time, research and effort from Care2. It must also be quite daunting trying to find willing sponsors who can also help. But all we (the members) ask is that you consider some of the ideas put forward for new credits and if at all feasible, make some or all of them available in the near future.
We can not undo the insurmountable damage that the human population has caused to our wonderful planet and its animals. But, we can try along with Care2, to help put right some of the wrongs caused by mankind. If we could actually save the life of just one animal through credits alone, imagine what sort of publicity the Care2 site would get through the media.
I am sure you must have noticed that many of the new petitions up and running have already gained momentum in signatures, faster than I imagined. Some have even surpassed the target goal for signatures but members just keep on signing; which clearly goes to show that Care2 members are really serious in the hopes of getting some or all of these new credit schemes, up and running in the near future.
I apologies for sending you the petitions in this format, as it is the only way I know how and never done petition work personally before.
However, by sending them this way, you will be able to see comments and news left by Care2 members along with other ideas on these petition sites. And of course you will be able to peruse all of the above at your own leisure. If you think any ideas could in any way shape or form become viable as credits; show them to the appropriate bodies of the Care2 Management team.
May I take this opportunity to thank you and all the staff at Care2, for all the hard work that has been put into making Care2 and it's a community the wonderful, caring site that it is. I look forward to receiving any comments or thoughts you may have regarding these ideas.
