We the undersigned wish to support animals and the outstanding animal rescuers via addition butterfly credit options & additional clicking donations if possible and we the undersigned wish to request these additional options, if possible, to help the outstanding rescuers where ever they are in the world and regardless of the species.

We the undersigned wish to support animals and the outstanding animal rescuers.

There are many thousand unsung hero, who do not follow others but match to their own tune, because of their courage of conviction. Please consider supporting outstanding people who hold so much courage and responsibilities on their shoulders but do not have the means to support their causes. Please Care2.com let us support the rescuers of all species, and for the animals who have no voice.  There are people who rescue people, but they need help.  They are outstanding and filled with courage too.

I know there is much work to do, but please consider and keep these ideas to definitely allow us to help others in future.  We wish to save lives of all species, and whilst we love the Butterfly Options now, we would like to do more.

I know this petition has examples of cats and dogs to be rescued, but please would you include of all species.  There are so many. In Germany, I saw a video of a lady who spent most of her life saving others, but she has done it all on her own almost and another lady who has struggled too in UK. Sorry, I have mislaid the video, but will try hard to find it again.  If you could reach out internationally and locally, it would be so inspiring to so many of us as Care2 members.  If you agree, that we need and would like options to save lives by supporting outstanding people via butterfly points, than please sign this petition, note the news, watch the video, spread the petition and urge others to sign.

In China a woman is driven by her desire to help stray animals, even when it means going into debt and being ostracized by family and friends. Here's more.

China's eastern Tianjin city.
Yang Xiaoyun has not been able to live the typical life of a retiree. Her house in Tianjin has effectively become an animal shelter. For 14 years she has woken up at the crack of dawn to take care of 300 stray cats and dogs, which she describes as her "children."

Yang has spent her entire life savings and borrowed more than $10,000 U.S. dollars from friends and
relatives. Now, she's in desperate need of financial help to buy the 200kg of food needed every day for her animals.

To cut costs, Yang has developed her own animal food recipe, consisting of leftovers mixed with meat. It takes her nine hours a day to cook it.

With $2000 U.S. dollars in monthly expenses, Yang said she has been forced to sell her properties. Not everyone supports her lifestyle.

[Yang Xiaoyun, Animal Lover]: "None of my friends or family members supports my work. I had two properties. One was a wedding gift for my son for when he gets married. I sold his place in 2000. He was very angry at me and ran away from home for three years. He couldn't take it anymore."

Her son eventually forgave her and returned home to help her take care of the animals, but Yang said she's moved nine times because her neighbors complained about the smell and noise.

Yang first started rescuing animals after her husband died. She contemplated suicide but then found a helpless kitten in a ditch and found a reason to keep going.

In 1999 media reported on Yang's efforts to create a safe haven for stray cats and dogs. Since then, she has been surviving partly on strangers' donations and partly on monthly cat supplies from an anonymous benefactor.

Volunteers from the "Beijing Cat" Rescue team saving an injured cat in Beijing after it was hit by a car.

They named the cat "Ms.Night" because of its colour and the cat has now fully recovered from the accident.

Other examples of hope in the arms of OUTSTANDING RESUCERS eg. animals are being rescued in western countries.  Chicken and rats, they like so many other animals, are thought less than nothing and they urgently need better welfare.

Animal and human abuse is not connected to anything, but it ALL BEGINS WITH THE SINGLE THOUGHT. Cruelty BEGINS WITH THE MINDSET.  CHANGE THE MINDSET, CHANGE THE WORLD.

This entry is a little homage to all of the Animals that have shown what real love and selflessness can accomplish, no matter what.
There is to add, that in the same courageous fashion that animals have helped others, also some humans have ripped and gone through the blinding veil of ignorance and separation, and rescued their helpless brothers and sisters cats, dogs, monkeys, rabbits, ferrets, mice, seals, foxes etc.

Paco, a Cadiz citizen (Spain) is due in court tomorrow (December, 14th). His unforgivable crime? Feeding feral and abandoned cats.

This dedicated cat lover has devoted his time, love and effort to these felines for years. As many animal activists in Spain, he's been regularly disparaged, humiliated and boycotted by insensitive neighbours unable to understand his dedication. Nevertheless, despite his difficult financial situation and the hostility of the environment, Paco never gave up or missed an appointment.  He always managed to feed his adored cats.

A few months ago things got worse for Paco. He was fired for housing a cat and her kittens at his workplace (he used a small room for a few days). He only wanted to keep them safe from the uncountable dangers of the street. (Is that a serious reason for firing somebody?).

Cadiz recently approved an ordinance that would fine people for feeding feral cats (ironically, no one is fined for abandoning animals like objects). Lately police officers have been pretty busy in Cadiz insulting, harassing and fining criminals such animal lovers (other crimes, notwithstanding go unpunished). But the thought of sick, innocent cats dying of starvation in the dead of winter was simply devastating for Paco. He just couldn't abandon them. Unfortunately, the fine for his offense will probably be astronomical.

How surreal a situation can get? This is Spain, ladies & gentlemen. Apparently, having a heart of gold is either illegal or frown upon whereas killing and torturing animals is overlooked or ridiculously fined.

I can't find the words to describe how ashamed of my country I feel once more.

Each and every word is an understatement. The absurdity of fining (and humiliating) a person for the only moral imperative possible is beyond description.

On behalf of all the animal activists in Spain, I ask you to support Paco, the role model. We are running out of time.
