We Will Continue to Fight For Equality, Love and Progress

It is with heavy hearts that we write today. Donald Trump is the President-elect of the United States, and he won on a platform of hate, bigotry, xenophobia, homophobia, sexism, transphobia, Islamophobia, climate change denial and anti-science rhetoric. To say we are disappointed is an understatement.

This harrowing moment is one of introspection, pain and hopefully, inspiration. Because now more than ever, we must commit to stand with the oppressed, both in the U.S. and abroad. The United States of America is not just one man or one party - it is all of us. We must reaffirm our commitment to fighting for the rights of women, LGBTQ folks, immigrants, folks with disabilities, minorities, folks living in poverty and all who Trump spoke and stood against. Today, many in this country feel scared, and we need to tell them and each other: we are not alone. We will protect each other.

We will continue the fight to protect our federal lands, slow climate change and protect our wildlife.

Please join us in pledging to keep fighting for equality, love and progress.

Please show how you will keep fighting for equality, love and progress by sharing what you will keep fighting for in the comment box.
