Tell Washington: Protect Medicare Advantage!

Right now, the Biden Administration is considering changes to Medicare Advantage. This could mean cuts to the program, which provides over 28 million seniors and people with disabilities high-quality, affordable health coverage.

I am reaching out to you today as a constituent on behalf of the Coalition for Medicare Choices and the more than 28 million seniors and people with disabilities who depend on Medicare Advantage for high-quality, affordable health coverage. I strongly oppose any actions – legislation or regulation – that could result in cuts to Medicare Advantage.

I want to remain independent and healthy without breaking the bank, and Medicare Advantage helps Americans like me accomplish just that by delivering better services, better access to care, and better value than original Medicare.

Medicare Advantage offers additional benefits that original Medicare doesn't cover, such as integrated vision, hearing, and dental benefits, a cap on out-of-pocket costs, transportation to medical appointments, and comprehensive prescription drug coverage. Medicare Advantage helps members stay healthy through preventative care measures, benefits that address social barriers to health, and innovative health care options like telehealth services.

These are just some of the many reasons that Medicare Advantage has strong bipartisan support among policymakers. However, the Administration is considering changes that could result in cuts to Medicare Advantage. We must preserve and strengthen this vital program.
