Stop Charging Patients, Visitors, and Staff for parking in hospitals

Parking fees incur an unavoidable extra cost on the sick and their families. Doctors, nurses & staff are being charged £30 a month for staff parking, and fined when they are forced to use the visitors’ carpark.

Hospitals in England made a record £120m in 2016 from charging patients, staff and visitors for parking, with an additional £635,387 from fines. Fees rose 5% on average from 2015 to 2016 and will likely continue to rise.

We need to fight this.

Sign this petition to remove parking fees at hospitals for everyone. Going to hospital is not a choice. It is a right which should not be financially exploited.
