Urge California's Governor to ban the sale of fur!

After making its way through California's Assembly and Senate, A.B. 44 — which would ban the sale of new fur in California — is on Governor Gavin Newsom's desk ready to be signed. We need your help in asking Gov. Newsom to pass this important bill into law!

The fur industry causes the suffering and death of more than 100 million animals worldwide each year, and animals on fur factory farms are forced to live in cramped, wire-bottom cages, deprived of the ability to engage in natural behaviors, before being cruelly killed by gassing or electrocution. Leading fashion brands and retailers like Prada, Gucci, Chanel and TJ Maxx have moved away from fur, opting for stylish, cruelty-free alternatives rather than being associated with this extreme cruelty.

The impact of this victory cannot be understated. California is a trendsetter in animal welfare and in fashion, and a win here would not only be historic, but it also has the potential to ripple out and affect change worldwide — sparing millions of lives from extreme confinement and a horrifying slaughter. But we can't do this without your voice!

Speak up today, for all the animals who cruelly and unnecessarily killed for their fur. Tell Governor Newsom to sign legislation banning the sale of new fur in California.
