Election Day is less than two weeks away, and Democrats are spending each and every one of those days fighting to reclaim Congress, governorships, and statehouses across the country.
What we do today will determine whether Democrats will win in November. There are many courageous Democratic candidates who have stepped up and are ready to usher in a new wave of leadership and hold Trump and the Republicans accountable, but they need our support to win and they need it now. Here's what's at stake:
- We can regain a majority in Congress and provide a much needed check on Trump and his administration.
- We can flip state legislatures in states across the country -- especially those where Republicans hold a razor-thin majority.
- We can create change at the local level by electing Democratic governors, attorneys general, mayors, city councilmembers, and school board members.
We can do all of this -- and more -- as long as we commit ourselves to building this movement together. Having a strong Democratic Party is the only way to defeat the GOP in all 50 states and save our democracy.
