North Carolina is continuously ranked nationally as a top ten solar state and our clean renewable industries employ more than 26,000 people. Now, Governor McCrory's administration is attacking solar by attempting to put new restrictions on an industry that is bringing both cleaner air and good jobs to our state.

To Governor McCrory:
It’s troubling that the head of your environmental agency (DEQ) has proposed plans that would hobble NC's solar and clean renewable industries. North Carolina's clean tech industry employed over 26,000 people in 2015 and continues to grow. Please instruct DEQ to cease its attack on solar and renewable energy. I urge you to also oppose any legislative proposals that would hinder these industries that are creating good jobs and cleaner air in North Carolina.
