Take the pledge against government overreach and the censorship of LGBTQ stories

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is currently initiating an inquiry into the TV ratings system that specifically targets LGBTQ content.

By questioning whether issues of gender identity should trigger special "warning labels" for parents, the government is moving to stigmatize transgender and non-binary people and treat their existence as "inappropriate."

Take the pledge and stand with GLAAD against government overreach and the censorship of LGBTQ stories.

I pledge to oppose any rating system changes that target gender identity. I stand with the LGBTQ community and demand that our media remains a space for all stories—not just the ones the government deems "safe."
