These are the things that the food allergy community has been dreaming of and researchers have been working on for years. While we are slowly making progress, these big innovative leaps require increased federal research spending to accomplish. The newly launched Congressional Food Allergy Research Caucus is going to help us make progress in this fight and we need your help to build this caucus today.
The newly created Congressional Food Allergy Research Caucus, co-chaired by Reps. Doris Matsui (D-CA-06) and Patrick Henry (R-NC-10) with Reps. Ro Khanna (D-CA-17) and Ben Cline (R-VA-6) serving as vice-chairs, will advocate for the food allergy community on Capitol Hill. The Research Caucus will educate the public and other members of Congress about the rapid increase in food allergies and the need for increased federal investment to fund new treatments, therapies, and, someday, a cure.
