Ask Louisiana lawmakers to support House Resolution 314 to protect public health!

Please show your support for a House Resolution 314 by Representative Lyons. This legislation requests that the Louisiana Department of Health provide access to vaccines and information on the diseases they prevent to areas of need.

Whooping cough is a vaccine preventable disease that has resulted in the deaths of two infants in Louisiana this year. Measles has killed 2 children in Texas and could impact Louisiana's kids as well as vaccination rates in many areas are below the 95% needed to prevent measles outbreaks. This legislation will ensure all Louisianans have the information and access they need to make the right decisions for their families.
