A Clare county teenager is in trouble with the law after deputies say he tortured a cat to death. He is now being held in a Midland juvenile detention facility and faces various animal cruelty and assault charges.

A Clare county teenager is in trouble with the law after deputies say he tortured a cat to death. The Clare county sheriff's office says they responded to the complaint Saturday involving a teen in Harrison. When they arrived, they discovered a cat had been tortured and killed. Deputies said they found the cat in a bucket in the garage of a Harrison home while investigating an animal cruelty complaint over the weekend.

The A 15-year-old boy is now being held in a Midland juvenile detention facility and faces various animal cruelty and assault charges.

We petition that The Honorable Norm Gage vigorously prosecute this case and request jail time and mandatory psychological counseling for the 15 year old boy.
