Demand Congress Pass the Break Free from Plastic Pollution Act

Plastic pollution is wreaking havoc on our planet. Nearly 100% of plastics are made from fossil fuels – and half of all plastics made every year are designed to be used once and then thrown away. Companies would rather make cheap new plastic than spend a little more to recycle them and cut both the trash piling up in landfills and the fossil fuel emissions changing our climate. 

We need Congress to take action to stop plastic manufacturers from endangering our planet any further. We CAN stop the explosion of plastic pollution, but we need your help. Please, join The Climate Reality Project to demand Congress pass the Break Free from Plastic Pollution Act so we can effectively tackle the climate crisis!
