Congress: COVID Recovery Must Include Funding For Strategic Job Training 

COVID-19 has caused a historic disruption to our economy and labor market and exacerbated racial inequities that exist in almost every aspect of our lives. 

Right now, millions of our neighbors and community members have lost work due to layoffs, reduced hours or the need to provide childcare and are experiencing debilitating financial stress. We need to create equitable work opportunities for everyone to recover. If we do not take proactive action now, the existing inequities will grow and deepen.

Now is the time to shift momentum to strategically train our job seekers for the future of work.

Tell Congress that the next COVID recovery package must include investments in skills training and subsidized work experience in order to build back a healthy, diverse workforce.
