The United States Constitution needs to be amended to add this 28th Amendment.
Many problems within America occur when Congress passes laws for the country but leaves itself in exception to it.
This is unacceptable. Members of Congress are just American citizens like everyone else, equal with all others. If a law is good enough for the average citizen it is good enough for those in Congress. All laws need to apply equal to all Americans. Sign this petition to add the 28th Amendment to the Constitution to solve this problem.
Additionally can you please sign the petitions to repeal the 22nd Amendment and amend Article II to abolish the electoral collage of the United States Constitution at the links below. These petitions are closely related. If an official is a good one they should get to hold their office until they commit an act against the United States and are voted out by Congress or their voting records change and they are directly voted out by the American people. If we remove term limits for officials, American citizens deserve to be able to directly elect those officials. Please pass all the petitions on to those you know after signing them.

"Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the Senators and/or Representatives; and, Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators and/or Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States."
