The proposed Poseidon Desalination Plant in Huntington Beach is a $1.4 billion catastrophe in the making.

The Desal Plant would cost nearly 4X as much as the water we already have, damage the California coastline and kill ocean life, and accelerate climate change with increased greenhouse gas emissions.

Scientists and water experts agree that desalination should only serve as a last resort to meet our water needs. Help us stop this dangerous and unnecessary project.

Send a message to the California Coastal Commission to say NO to Poseidon's expensive, unnecessary, environmentally damaging project before their meeting in February.
